“Ogliarola” is a unique quality organic olive oil from Italy known as monocultivar olive oil, made from a single olive variety (cultivar) from the Gargano area. Such oil has a distinct, unique flavour and is hard to come by. Most olive oils are made from a blend of olive varieties. This oil is ready for consumption as soon as it is extracted, without needing to ripen or be mixed with other oils.
Colour, fragrance and taste of the oil: golden yellow colour, with a
slightly greenish tone. It's surprisingly soft on the palate, with a velvety note, and balanced bitter and spicy tones. It's a fruity olive oil, with personality, but without excess. We love it with steamed vegetables, salads and soups.
